Concession Stand Volunteering and Employment Opportunities

Updated Sunday February 4, 2018 by South Lakeland Baseball.

We all enjoy our game time concessions and the league relies on the funds raised by the sale of these concession stands to improve our park and to keep our league registration fees affordable. We no longer require a concession deposit from our families.to ensure proper staffing of our concession stands. We have now necessarily built some of this cost into our registration fees. We still allow and ecourage families who desire to reduce their registration fees to schedule themselves with the concession manager to volunteer in our concession stands. This should be done at the beginning of the season witht the concession manager at concessions@southlakelandbaseball.com. Fees will be reduced by $20 for a night worked in the concession stand.

Volunteer hours are available to students who are looking for volunteer hours. This can be in the form of working in the concession stand, running a scoreboard on a game, keeping score or even field prep before/after games. Inquirires and scheduling should be handled by the concession manager at concession@southlakelandbaseball.com. This is a great fun way to get volunteer hours providing community service and volunteering for a 501(c)3.

Concession stand employment: Each season the concession stand hires teens to work in the concession stand.  If you are interested, please contact the concession manager at concession@southlakelandbaseball.com. Please note that paid employees are not eligible for volunteer hours.
